What about bad weather?
The 5K will go as planned. The only reason we will postpone this race is because of seriously dangerous weather. If that happens we will reschedule another day for the race. Keep posted to this website for updates and contact information.
Can we use headphones and MP3 Players while running the race? Please understand one of the goals and challenges for any race is the safety of each runner. Using headphones during the race is a potential hazard for runner safety. You will not be disqualified or beaten or flogged if one of the volunteers sees headphones but the race director would prefer you not use them.
Is the course fast and flat? The course is fast and slopes down for the first mile of the race. after that it is rolling in nature and you know what that means…it is a slight incline coming back for the last mile.
If I register by mail when is the deadline mail date? September 19th.
Can I register the morning of the event? Yes at 7:00 - 7:30. No guarantee you will receive a shirt and the cost will be 30.00.
If I can’t make the race for any reason that day can I get my money back? We have incurred numerous expenses to put on a quality event. We cannot give any refunds.
What time should I be at the event? If you picked up your packet on Friday 7:30 would give you plenty of time to stretch and warm up. If you have registered and need to pick up your packet be there by 7:15. If you decided late to participate be there at 7:00 so you have plenty of time to get everything and have time to stretch and warm up.
